for the welfare of the RS's Enlisted Marines to include the “Poolees” (enlistees waiting to ship to Recruit Training)
and Command Recruiters (Marines from other commands sent to assist Recruiters for short periods of time).Train,

Received the Meritorious
Service Medal for accomplishments during my tour. Upon arrival to the Recruiting Station, I identified “low moral”
as the #1 reason why the unit was continuously unsuccessful in reaching its monthly goals. I then developed and implemented
programs that significantly increased moral; this increase has resulted in RS Detroit now constantly reaching its monthly
goals. RS Detroit went from being one of the worst RSs in the 4th Marine Corps District to winning the RS of the Year
award two years running.

Reduced
pool attrition from 34% to 19% thereby reducing contracting equally.
